Copper Cup Tournament
Arizona State Soccer Association is excited to be bringing you the 28th Annual Copper Cup Soccer Tournament. The tournament is open to all US Soccer affiliated teams, and will be held January 15th through January 17th, 2022. Note: Finals are on the Monday MLK holiday.

Q: What does it cost to join the 2022 Copper Cup tournament?
A: The cost to join the Copper Cup is $600 per team.
Walking soccer brackets will cost $300 per team
Q: Who would I be playing?
A: Copper Cup has excellent competition in multiple brackets that fit all levels of play. There are typically entries from multiple states.
Q: What are the levels of play?
A: Copper Cup intends to have the following brackets. Any brackets that cannot be filled, will be refunded or redistributed into other divisions (if appropriate)
- Men A – Open, Competitive
- Men B – Recreational
- Men C - Over 35
- Women A – Open, Competitive
- Women B – Recreational (higher level rec)
- Women C – Recreational (lower level rec)
- Women D - Over 35
- Walking Soccer (coed) - Recreational
Q: What are the prizes?
A: Copper Cup will award cash prizes for first and second place. The prize money will be determined based on the number of teams in the bracket.
Q: Where will the tournament be held?
A: Details will be coming on this soon. Since we have had a change in management of the tournament, we are still working this out.

Q: What if I am a player without a team?
A: Pickup players must be US Soccer affiliated registered or willing register ($15 fee required). To join our player pickup list click here. Note: Joining the pickup list does not guarantee a spot on the team.
Q: What is Walking Soccer?
A: It is really as simple as it sounds. It is a small sided soccer game with small goals, where the players must walk to play the ball. There are additional rule modifications to accommodate the walking soccer game. To see the Walking Soccer tournament rules, click here. While it is growing in popularity faster among older players, younger players also enjoy this up and coming soccer variation.
